Increased fatigue, muscle pain,
and almost as the thou the brain has gone foggy or cloudy. These are
just a few of the symptoms which vary from case to case.
There are some Doctors and
Specialists who are not convinced that M.E. is even a
proper disease yet with symptoms like sore throats and
headaches and cronic tiredness that doesn't improve with
rest or sleeping must prove the point that something is
wrong.
Some will even say that M.E.
is stress related and that the patient has reached that
burnt out stage where everything and everything is an
effort.
As each case seems to be
different where patients have been in need of bed rest
for months at a time its almost as thou the brain is
telling the body to shut down while it recoups from what
ever the problem is.
Another possibility is that
it could be viral which affects the brain which in turn
switches the rest of the body.
But maybe it might be a diet
related problem as most of the people that tend to get
this disease are from the upper class, and as the richer
people tend to eat more elaborate types of foods.
Another surprising fact was that 75% of
suffers are women, but Doctors do point out that this is in line
with other immune related disorders.
What I did notice is that M.E. almost sounds
like a lot of other similar diseases, and that the immune system is
a very delicate thing. If it's a matter of stress, or a pollution
build up in the bodies the only way to cure it to detox the body
making sure that your immune system can kick in to fight it.
Not
being a medical person or anybody anywhere near qualified to quote,
or to an expert I might be wrong. But does seem as thou their seems
to be a recurring theme going on here. Perhaps, and this is only a
perhaps that maybe if the statistics are right, and that the higher
income people are more likely to catch this disease could be that
they tend to eat different types of food.
This would then be consistent with Doctor
Robert O Youngs finding about different foods, and how that some
have a very much higher acid content which destroys the good cells
that help our immune system work. If that is the case the if an
Alkaline diet helps people with the likes of Alzheimer's,
Parkinson's, Multiple Sclerosis, perhaps it can help people with
M.E. as well.
For the record Dr Robert O Young is a
Microbiologist, and Nutritionist, and has been said to be one of the
top people in his field.
More and more we are affected by pollution
and
stress, and we are subjected to many that we don't even know what
they do to the body. Things like sugar based products and
preservatives, and all those dreaded e numbers. The fast food
industry has glorified the food we eat by flash advertising causing
more and more people to become obese, or at least
to carry more fat than we should.
If the toxins, or acid is stored
in our body fat, we will not be able to do anything about it until
we put the balance right.
This subject could be talked
about and analyzed for quite some time and I would like
to point you in the direction of two websites that you
may find interesting.
The first is a website on Multiple Sclerosis and
straight away you might think what has M.S. got to do
with M.E. The answer to that is quite simple as it is
based on the findings of Doctor Robert O Young and it
explains about the different foods we eat and what it
does to our body. Click here to view the website.
The
second is diet related and can tell you all about the
difference in alkaline foods and acidic foods. To
view this website please click here.
