Over
the last few years it has been proved many times that
your diet can make you ill or make you better depending
on what you eat.
With
obesity reaching great heights there are more people who
are likely to have medical problems and many of these
people are turning to alternative medicine.
If we
eat the wrong foods the acidic content builds up to
cause problems. Some people are lucky and they can
eat what they want and when they want but for others it
just brings problems.
Diseases like Multiple Sclerosis, Eczema, Parkinson's,
Alzheimer's Cancer, Osteoporosis can all be the result
of a bad diet.
There
are many pages on the Internet telling us about eating
our fresh fruit and vegetables each day yet sometimes I
know this can be a problem with so many Moms having to
work full time the time element can force us into fast
foods, and foods that are really not that good for us.
Through
medical research they have proved that foods tend to
fall into two categories of Acidic or Alkaline.
Too
many acidic meals means that the acid will build up in
the body and kill off the good blood cells that do the
healing and the general maintenance of the body, where
as foods of an alkaline nature can help the body fight
against all the toxins that are bad for us.
Most
acidic foods tend to be sugar based like chocolate,
sweets, cakes, and meat is also very acidic. I'm
not saying we should stop eating these things and I'm
not saying that we should all become vegetarians but by
eating more fresh fruit and vegetables you will loose
weight and become a lot healthier.
